 The Northern Light Inn is situated just two blocks from Lake Superior, with direct access to the sandy beach. In July and August water temperature is right for swimming. Admittedly, the water temperature has not been described as "bath water". Our sunsets are beautiful!! Key West doesn't have anything on us... Bonfires are permitted at the beach. Hot dogs and smores are great, but some choose to bring a bottle of wine and shrimp to saute'. The Porcupine Mountain State Park, just fifteen minutes away, is home to over thirty waterfalls. Nature lovers return to the area, year after year to visit this beautiful wilderness park. The Lake of the Clouds is a must see. The Inn is a comfortable home to return to. Guests frequently gather in front of the fireplace in a living room intended for guest enjoyment. The Northern Light Inn, a Bed & Breakfast, hosts travelers and Ontonagon residents alike. A delicious breakfast is served daily, all private baths, three with Jacuzzi tubs. The third floor Jacuzzi Suite is ideal for couples celebrating a special time. Rave reviews from honeymooners.
